Nanny / Family Assistant – Brooklyn (Afternoons into evening)

Nanny Knows Best Agency is seeking a warm, reliable, and proactive Nanny / Family Assistant for a family in Brooklyn. This is a long-term afternoon position ideal for a nanny who enjoys working with school-aged children and helping keep a household running smoothly.

The schedule is approximately weekday afternoons and early evenings (30 hours per week). The role includes school pick-up, accompanying the child to activities, engaging in play, and during the day when the child is in school, assisting with family tasks such as organizing, errands, and meal prep.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, engaging, organized, and comfortable managing an afternoon schedule independently. Someone would love to grow with a family for at least a couple of years! There is also travel involved for a few weeks throughout the year, an overnight stipend provided.

Position Details:

• Afternoon into evening schedule

• Competitive hourly pay - $35-$40 per hour gross, depending on experience

Requirements:

• Prior nanny experience of at least 3 years
• Age 21 and up
• Strong references
• Comfortable commuting within Brooklyn
• Organized, proactive, and reliable
• Ability to commit to position long-term
