Family Care Giver

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to a child in a safe and nurturing environment in their home. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for child welfare and the ability to monitor and support the needs of a child, ensuring their health and well-being.

Duties

• Provide daily care for a child, including feeding and supervising between 4 pm to 8 pm, Monday to Friday
• Monitor the health and behavior of the child, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness in the child living areas, ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Assist with nearby school pick up of the child.
• Engage with the child to promote socialization and comfort.
• Document observations related to the child's behavior and health accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations regarding child care.
• Support educational programs about child care and welfare for visitors.

Qualifications

• Experienced care giver or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic children behavior and health monitoring techniques.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is a plus.
• Skills in patient observation and monitoring are beneficial.
• Ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) related to children ages 5 to 10 years.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and the public.
• A compassionate approach towards children, demonstrating patience and empathy.
• Previous experience in senior care or direct support roles is advantageous but not required.
