Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to a child in a safe and nurturing environment in their home. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for child welfare and the ability to monitor and support the needs of a child, ensuring their health and well-being.
Duties
- Provide daily care for a child, including feeding and supervising between 4 pm to 8 pm, Monday to Friday
- Monitor the health and behavior of the child, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness in the child living areas, ensuring a hygienic environment.
- Assist with nearby school pick up of the child.
- Engage with the child to promote socialization and comfort.
- Document observations related to the child's behavior and health accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations regarding child care.
- Support educational programs about child care and welfare for visitors.
Qualifications
- Experienced care giver or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic children behavior and health monitoring techniques.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is a plus.
- Skills in patient observation and monitoring are beneficial.
- Ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) related to children ages 5 to 10 years.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and the public.
- A compassionate approach towards children, demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Previous experience in senior care or direct support roles is advantageous but not required.
