Experienced Family Law Associate Attorney

We are looking for an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join our team. We have an office in Austin and an office in Harker Heights. You must be knowledgeable in conducting bench trials, preparing witnesses for trial, advising clients, negotiating with opposing attorneys, and attending mediations, conducting depositions, and providing consultations. Also, must be knowledgeable in all phases of litigation, drafting pleadings and orders, preparing discovery, coordinating court hearings and negotiations. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must as well as handling time-sensitive matters and meeting deadlines. This is a fast-paced office. Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in family law cases, ensuring their rights and interests are protected throughout the legal process.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive case strategies to effectively advocate for clients.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and orders, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professionalism and respect.
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for court appearances, mediations, and depositions, ensuring they are confident and informed.
  • Attend court hearings and mediations, presenting cases clearly and persuasively to judges and mediators.
  • Collaborate with our legal team to share insights and develop innovative solutions for complex family law issues, fostering a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in family law with a minimum of two years in a similar role.
  • Ability to conduct bench trials and prepare witnesses with confidence and clarity.
  • Proven track record of drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents with precision.
  • Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable settlements while maintaining professionalism.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Ability to manage time-sensitive matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in collaborating with legal teams to develop innovative solutions for complex issues.
