Family Law Associate Attorney

This role offers the opportunity to manage family law matters from initial consultation through resolution while working alongside experienced attorneys who value mentorship, professionalism, and work quality.

What You’ll Do

• Handle a full caseload of family law files including divorce, custody, and support matters

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, subpoenas, and trial materials

• Perform legal research and apply current statutes and case law to strategy and filings

• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff

• Work closely with colleagues to provide high-level client service and thoughtful case strategy

• Attend hearings and court appearances across Southern California as needed

• Maintain strong time management and billing practices, targeting approximately 140 billable hours per month

What We’re Looking For

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

• Active California Bar license in good standing

• 1–5 years of legal practice experience (family law exposure preferred)

• Excellent writing, research, and verbal communication abilities

• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing deadlines across multiple matters

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools such as Westlaw
