Family Law Attorney

The Law Offices of Regina M. Taylor is a growing family law firm with a reputation for teamwork, integrity, compassion, competency, and trustworthiness. We are seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney who is passionate about helping families.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging and meaningful cases while being mentored and supported by an experienced team. You’ll represent clients in Gaston, Cleveland, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Catawba, and Union counties, with opportunities to expand into additional counties. Our adoption clients come from across North Carolina and nationwide.

You’ll join a collaborative, professional environment that values both client advocacy and team success.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least five (5) years of verifiable experience in family law and/or civil litigation preferred. New admittees are welcome to apply.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice law in North Carolina and in good standing with the Bar. Candidates licensed by October 1, 2025 will also be considered. Being licensed in NC and SC is a plus.
• Skills & Qualities:
• Diligent in moving cases forward and able to work independently.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills.
• Strong time management and ability to track billable time.
• Ability to quickly learn technology and systems
• Professional appearance and positive representation of the firm.
• Strong client communication and advocacy skills.
• Enjoys challenges and working on diverse cases.
• Team-oriented and committed to firm values.
• Friendly, cheerful personality

Compensation

• From $70,000 to $85,000 and up
• Competitive compensation based on experience and production.
