Family Law Paralegal

Warner Angle Hallam Jackson & Formanek PLC is currently seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its distinguished team of highly skilled practitioners. For more than 67 years, businesses and individuals have depended on Warner Angle for the highest levels of legal skill, ingenuity, and personalized client service. The ideal Family Law Paralegal will have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant Arizona Family Law experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced professional office environment. Proficiencies in Adobe, Office 365, Microsoft Teams and Zoom are a must.

The ideal candidate must be organized, reliable, punctual, have a professional demeanor, and be friendly and outgoing. A meticulous attention to detail is a critical skill necessary to this position. Must also be proactive and self-motivated, able to multi-task, and solutions oriented. Strong writing and proofreading skills and a desire to learn, as well as a strict adherence to confidentiality is required. The candidate will need to routinely work collectively with members of our legal team at all levels.

Responsibilities include:

• Direct client communication - document signings, procedure instructions, troubleshooting as needed
• Managing multiple attorneys’ calendars
• Drafting documents - initial divorce, separation, child custody and child support pleadings; disclosure statements settlement conference memoranda
• Open files, prepare new case memos and engagement agreements
• Document management, including preparation of discovery and disclosure documents
• Preparation for trial and arbitration - drafting pre-trial statements, exhibits and exhibit notebooks
• Attend and participate in trial

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
