Position Overview

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care at our Gaffney Health Center. Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, high-quality primary medical care across the lifespan in accordance with your specialty.

• Develop individualized care plans including medical history, examination, treatment, and referral when appropriate.

• Utilize laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic resources efficiently and effectively.

• Collaborate with consulting physicians, nurses, behavioral health specialists, and patients’ families to coordinate holistic care.

• Participate in preventive health and community wellness initiatives.

• Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants per ReGenesis collaborative agreements.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary up to $240,000, based on experience

  • $10,000.00 Rural Incentive Bonus after 12 months of employment in Cherokee County each year.
  • Quarterly quality-based incentives (not RVU-based)

Education & Licensure

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an approved Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency.
  • Current South Carolina medical license (or eligibility).
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be certified within 12 months of hire).
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a community health or FQHC setting.
  • Familiarity with the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model.
  • Comfort using eClinicalWorks or similar EMR.
