Family Medicine Resident

Department: Heritage Valley Beaver, Work Hours: This posting is reserved for those individuals who have been matched with the Heritage Valley Health System Family Medicine Residency Program.

The House Staff Physician provides family medicine care to both inpatients and outpatients commensurate with his/her level of competence, under the general supervision of appropriately privileged attending teaching staff physicians and residents.

Requirements

Must meet the qualifications for resident eligibility outlined in the Essentials of Accredited Residencies in Graduate Medical Education in the AMA Graduate Medical Education Directory.

Must have a current training license in the state of PA.

Must be able to move around the hospital adequately to address routine and emergency patient care needs.

Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
