Family Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner (APRN) is to provide healthcare to patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, and supportive care. The APRN works independently as well as collaboratively to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage and evaluate patient care. The APRN functions as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate. Applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions; performs other related duties. The APRN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; & PROVIDE medical care for patients of all ages . Interacts directly with patients and patient families to maximize quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients/
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs.
  • Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
  • Monitors the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Collaborates with team members by making appropriate referrals.
  • Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools.
  • Keep detailed medical records, relevant documentation updated at all the times.
  • Follow State & Federal regulations & Clinic Protocols.
  • Leadership role in establishing & promoting patient health & medical office.

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure
  • Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Strong computer skills & Use EMR
  • Strong management skills to run medical office.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $98,755.00 - $109,755.00 per year
