Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations, health assessments, and diagnostic evaluations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adult populations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, administering injections such as botulinum toxin treatments for aesthetic or therapeutic purposes, and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, and sterile processing with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems, currently we use eClinicalWorks, to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, medication management, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications; coordinate care with specialists in areas such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, or senior care when necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse patient populations across settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, or urgent care centers.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems; familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards for documentation and billing purposes.
• Strong clinical skills including physical examinations, diagnostic evaluation techniques such as sonography or spinal taps, and procedures like suturing or dermal fillers.
• Knowledge of acute pain management strategies, infection control protocols, and medication administration practices including injections..
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration; ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
