Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist/Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems, medical billing, and coding procedures, all while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor.Duties<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.</li><li>Schedule appointments accurately using medical scheduling software and coordinate patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.</li><li>Collect and review patient information, update medical records, and ensure proper documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.</li><li>Assist with medical billing and collection efforts</li><li>Maintain organized medical records, file documents securely, and manage office supplies to support smooth clinic operations.</li><li>Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, typing reports, and utilizing Microsoft Office tools for documentation purposes</li><li>Handle intake procedures for new patients, process forms efficiently, and support front desk activities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Uphold confidentiality standards by adhering to HIPAA guidelines during all patient interactions and documentation processes.</li><li>Medical Assisting as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical office support role within a clinical setting.</li><li>Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems. We currently use eclincal works .</li><li>Understanding of medical terminology and medications.</li><li>Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person while demonstrating professionalism at all times.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and filing procedures.</li><li>Prior clinic experience is advantageous; familiarity with hospital or healthcare environments is beneficial.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining accuracy and composure.</li><li>Medical assisting experiance is adavantgeous</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person

This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in individuals&rsquo; lives while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment committed to excellence and continuous improvement.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough physical examinations, health assessments, and diagnostic evaluations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adult populations.</li><li>Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, administering injections such as botulinum toxin treatments for aesthetic or therapeutic purposes, and managing acute and chronic conditions.</li><li>Perform procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, and sterile processing with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.</li><li>Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems, currently we use eClinicalWorks, to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Provide patient education on disease prevention, medication management, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications; coordinate care with specialists in areas such as gastroenterology, infectious disease care, hospice &amp; palliative medicine, or senior care when necessary.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).</li><li>Demonstrated experience working with diverse patient populations across settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, or urgent care centers.</li><li>Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems; familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards for documentation and billing purposes.</li><li>Strong clinical skills including physical examinations, diagnostic evaluation techniques such as sonography or spinal taps, and procedures like suturing or dermal fillers.</li><li>Knowledge of acute pain management strategies, infection control protocols, and medication administration practices including injections..</li><li>Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration; ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
