Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our busy outpatient clinic in Palatine, IL. This role offers a mix of primary care and urgent care, providing a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment.

Our clinic offers on-site labs and X-ray, allowing providers to deliver efficient, comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for acute and chronic conditions
• Perform physical exams, annual wellness visits, and preventive care
• Diagnose and treat common urgent care conditions (URI, UTI, minor injuries, etc.)
• Order and interpret labs, X-rays, and EKGs
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, I&D, splinting – preferred)
• Educate patients on treatment and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical team

Qualifications

• Active Illinois NP or PA license
• Board certified (FNP/ANP or NCCPA)
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in primary care or urgent care preferred
• DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
