Our family owned clinic is looking to hire a Family Nurse Practitioner, this role could be part time or full time.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care across diverse patient populations inclduing family medicine and workers compensation. The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise, including experience with acute and chronic conditions, telehealth services, etc. This role involves delivering patient-centered care in outpatient settings, and utilizing advanced EMR/EHR systems. The Family Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes and manage cases.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory testing, sonography, and specimen collection/processing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute pain management, infectious disease care, chronic disease management, and preventive health services such as family planning.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR/EHR systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Provide patient education on health coaching topics including nutrition, medication administration, airway management, and post-discharge planning.
- Collaborate with specialists in internal medicine, emergency medicine, occupational health, geriatrics, ophthalmology (ocular assessments), cardiology (cardiac catheterization), and other disciplines as needed.
- Maintain sterile processing protocols during procedures requiring aseptic technique such as catheterization or spinal taps.
Qualifications
- Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from an accredited program.
- Proven experience in diverse clinical environments including, outpatient clinics, inpatient units, or post-acute settings such as skilled nursing facilities or assisted living communities.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems; experience with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10).
- Experience managing patients with complex needs including behavioral health issues or working with people with disabilities or developmental delays.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care; familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential. Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
