Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The FNP will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
• Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic health conditions.
• Perform procedures such as venipuncture
• Provide triage services to prioritize patient care based on urgency.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic tests to inform clinical decisions.
• Stay informed about workers' compensation law as it pertains to patient care.
• Participate in critical care situations when necessary, utilizing basic life support skills.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
• Proficiency in performing basic life support (BLS) techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
