MANI K MD PA is a primary care clinic seeking a Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our wonderful team. We serve a wide variety of patients with varying levels of acute, complex, and chronic disease management needs. You will work closely with our supervising physician to provide excellent care to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting. This is a great opportunity for a PA who enjoys a high-volume practice with strong support staff. The right person will be compassionate and efficient, with professional bedside manners.

- Clinic hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm
- No hospital responsibilities or call.
- Clinical and back office support.
- EHR system used: E-mds

Position:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and diagnosis/treatment of acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
- Prescribe medications and develop patient management plans
- Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education
- Manage follow-up visits, hospital follow-ups, and chronic disease management
- Collaborate with the physician and support staff (MAs) to ensure efficient patient flow
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EHR
- Provide advice on healthy habits and practices for patients based on their current health status
- Prescribe and refill medications as needed
- Provide referrals to specialists when required
- Assist practice physicians when needed
- Perform physical examinations/women's wellness examinations
- Confidence to work independently
- Willingness to take over existing patients as well as take on new patients
- Diagnose a patient’s injury or illness
- Perform procedures
- Provide treatment
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on a variety of issues
- Research the latest treatments to ensure quality of patient care
