The FNP will provide high-quality healthcare services to patients across the lifespan, focusing on mental health and behavioral health needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to holistic patient care and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to support the mental well-being of our clients.
As part of our ongoing growth, this position will be located at our Owensboro headquarters with travel to our county clinics as expansion continues: Ohio, Henderson, Hancock, etc.

Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical exams, mental health evaluations, and health histories.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
Prescribe medications and monitor patients for side effects and therapeutic outcomes.
Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding health management, mental health issues, and preventive care.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Stay current with best practices in family medicine and behavioral health.
Completes other administrative support duties and special projects as developed and assigned.
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification from a recognized certifying body.
Valid nursing license in the state of [State].
Experience preferred but not required in psychiatric care, preferably in an outpatient or behavioral health setting.
Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
