Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Description

• Evaluates patients to obtain history, performs physical examinations, orders lab and other tests, prescribes medications and treatments.
• To provide effective, efficient and appropriate care to patients from the age of 0-99
• Provides continuity in managed care for patients with pre-existing long term problems.
• Makes referrals for secondary care.
• Performs medical procedures like incision and draining, sutures, knee joint aspirations, knee joint injection
• Provides health maintenance visits, evaluates for immunizations and provides anticipatory guidance andreferrals; performs contract and special physical examinations .
• STD (sexually transmitted disease) and family planning screening and education.
• Documents and codes all patient contact accurately and legibly in the medical record.
• Performs as an active member of the medical team.
• Performs Pap smears.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• All patient notes should be completed daily in a timely manner.
• Years of experience from the range of 1 - 10 years
• Needs to work for 40 hrs a week, Monday through Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
