Family Office Analyst – Investment & Operations Analyst
(Multi-Asset & Operating Focus)
Immediate Joiner Required
Role Purpose
Support the family office in investment research, portfolio monitoring, governance, and operational oversight across public markets, private investments, and family-owned operating businesses, with a long-term capital preservation mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Research & Execution
- Conduct research across:
- Public equities, fixed income, and funds
- Private equity, venture capital, and private credit
- Real estate and real assets
- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, cap tables, scenario analysis)
- Prepare investment memos and IC presentations
- Assist in due diligence (commercial, financial, and governance)
Portfolio Monitoring
- Track portfolio performance, liquidity, and concentration
- Review fund reports and capital calls
- Maintain portfolio dashboards and cash flow forecasts
- Assist with asset allocation reviews
Operating Business Support
- Review monthly MIS for family-owned businesses
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Track KPIs and operational performance
- Assist with capital expenditure and strategic initiatives
Governance & Structuring
- Support board and committee processes
- Prepare board packs and track actions
- Assist with SPVs, holding structures, and documentation
- Coordinate with legal, tax, audit, and banking advisors
Ad-hoc & Principal Support
- Respond to time-sensitive analytical requests
- Prepare briefing notes for meetings
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or similar
- 3–7 years’ experience in:
- Investment banking
- Asset management
- Private equity / venture capital
- Consulting
- Family office
- CFA (Level I or above) strongly preferred
- Strong accounting knowledge (IFRS / GAAP)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
