Farm Laborer

The Farm Laborer assists with basic equipment maintenance, lawncare, inventory and also provides routine farm maintenance. This position will also be responsible for hauling hay, dirt and feed as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Operate heavy farm equipment
• Operate landscaping equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Perform basic irrigation system checks and repairs
• Maintain lawns by mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
• Install and maintain seasonal plants, trees, and shrubs
• Repair fences and provide routine farm maintenance.
• Prune and trim hedges, bushes, and trees
• Remove debris, leaves, and weeds from landscaped areas
• Tend to animals
• Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have direct supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience preferred
• Clean Driving Record
• High Scholl Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Bilingual
