As a Farsi (Persian) Tutor, your primary responsibility is to facilitate effective language learning experiences for students seeking to improve their proficiency in Persian. You will work with individuals or small groups, tailoring your teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and proficiency levels. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, conducting assessments, and providing constructive feedback to support students’ language development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lesson Planning
Develop and design comprehensive lesson plans that align with each student’s specific needs, goals, and proficiency level.
Incorporate a variety of teaching materials, including textbooks, digital resources, and authentic Persian cultural content, to enhance learning.

2. Instruction and Facilitation
Deliver engaging, interactive Persian language lessons in a remote setting, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.
Use communicative language teaching approaches, encouraging students to actively participate in conversations and practical language exercises.

3. Assessment and Progress Monitoring
Conduct regular assessments to evaluate students’ language proficiency and monitor their progress.
Provide constructive feedback and create targeted strategies to address individual learning challenges and improve performance.

4. Adaptability
Adjust teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, age groups, and proficiency levels.
Modify lesson plans as needed to respond to individual or group progress and evolving learning needs.

5. Technology Integration
Utilize online teaching platforms, multimedia tools, and language-learning applications to enhance the remote learning experience.
Stay updated on current educational technologies and integrate innovative tools into lessons.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Persian/Farsi, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Farsi (Persian).
Prior teaching or tutoring experience, preferably in language instruction.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with language teaching methodologies and instructional resources.
Patience, adaptability, and a passion for language education.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
