Fashion Designer

Qapla Industries is an emerging apparel brand based in Lahore, creating modern, trend-forward clothing for a wide audience. We are seeking a Fashion Designer with strong creative vision and technical expertise to design collections that align with our brand DNA. This role focuses on developing designs for production at scale, ensuring both style and manufacturability meet market demands.

Responsibilities

• Research global and local fashion trends to design apparel collections that resonate with our target market.
• Develop seasonal mood boards, sketches, and digital designs that reflect the brand’s identity.
• Create detailed tech packs and specifications for manufacturers to ensure accurate production.
• Select fabrics, trims, and materials suitable for large-scale apparel manufacturing.
• Collaborate with product development and production teams to maintain cost efficiency while upholding quality.
• Oversee sample development and participate in fit sessions, making revisions to achieve the best results.
• Monitor competitors and fast-fashion trends to keep the brand relevant and competitive.
• Ensure consistency in design language across collections while allowing room for creativity.
• Work with marketing and creative teams to bring collections to life in campaigns and lookbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in apparel/fashion brand design (not boutique tailoring).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand-ready designs suitable for scaled production.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CLO3D).
• Solid understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and mass production workflows.
• Strong trend forecasting, color theory, and silhouette development skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple collections simultaneously.
