Fashion Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Fashion & Accessory Designer who can bring originality and expertise to our team—someone with a passion for embroidery design, material exploration, and Garment & bag creation with 1 to 3 years of professional experience to join us. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for trends, a strong understanding of fabrics and silhouettes, and the ability to translate ideas into commercially viable designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles.
• Conceptualize and design new collections according to brand direction and seasonal themes.
• Create detailed sketches, CAD drawings.
• Collaborate with pattern makers.
• Source and select fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Can create new embroidery designs and make khaka.
• Participate in fittings and make necessary adjustments to designs.
• Maintain awareness of target market preferences and brand positioning.
• Meet design deadlines and ensure timely delivery of collections.

Bag Design:

• Conceptualize and design new collections of embroidered handbags, and other accessories.
• Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and specifications for bag construction.
• Select appropriate materials such as fabrics, canvas, trims, and hardware.
• Collaborate with sampling and production teams to develop prototypes.
• Ensure that each design aligns with brand identity, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

Trend Research & Development:

• Research trends in embroidery, color palettes, patterns, and accessory design.
• Develop seasonal themes and design mood boards for new collections.
• Stay updated with market trends and customer preferences in fashion accessories.

Coordination & Execution:

• Work with the merchandising and production teams to ensure smooth sampling and production processes.
• Communicate design ideas effectively through mood boards, illustrations, and mock-ups.
• Oversee quality control of embroidery and bag samples before final approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in fashion design (apparel, ready-to-wear, or relevant category).
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, draping, pattern making, and garment construction.
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and trend awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in “women’s western wear and Bags.
• Knowledge of production processes and costing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
