Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Fashion Designer specializing in modern women’s wear. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of current fashion trends, patterns, cuts, and styling techniques for ladies’ wear, along with hands-on experience in dress and fabric cutting and coordination with digital embroidery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design innovative and trend-driven women’s outfits aligned with brand identity and market trends.
• Develop patterns, technical drawings, and detailed design specifications for production teams.
• Work on modern cuts, stitching techniques, garment construction, and finishing details.
• Collaborate closely with tailoring, embroidery, and production teams to execute designs accurately.
• Select fabrics, manage sampling, fittings, and design revisions.
• Coordinate and guide digital embroidery designs and placement for garments when required.
• Stay up to date with global fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, and embellishment styles.
• Assist in planning and execution of seasonal and capsule collections.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fashion designing for women’s wear (portfolio required).
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, dress cutting, and garment construction.
• Understanding of western and fusion wear (tops, co-ords, dresses, jumpsuits, abayas, etc.).
• Practical knowledge of digital embroidery and punching concepts.
• Familiarity with embroidery and punching software such as:
• Wilcom Embroidery Studio
• Tajima DG/ML by Pulse
• Barudan Embroidery Software
• Happy Embroidery Software
• Other DST / EMB digital embroidery punching tools (an advantage)
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or CLO 3D (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong creativity with a sharp eye for detail, colors, and finishing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design is preferred; however, strong skills and relevant experience will be highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
