Fashion Designer- Womens-wear (Western), Amazon India - Private Brands

Description

We are looking out for talented Designers, with minimum 5 years of work experience in designing Womenswear and having passion to develop innovative products that solves customer's problems. You will be working with the super talented Amazon Private Brands team based out of Bangalore.

Must Haves

Professionally Qualified: NIFT / NID / Pearl Academy

Work Experience of minimum 5 years (work experience with renowned domestic / international womenswear brands would be preferred)

Sound Product Knowledge in Womenswear- Fabric and Garmenting

Understanding of Indian Fashion Industry

Sound analytical skills

Proficient in Design Softwares

Great communication skills - Written and Verbal

Market / Trend Analysis

Dive deep on product performance

Ideation on innovation

Direction setting on new products

Design womenswear range on paper

Product development

Coordination / follow ups with vendors

Campaign / Catalogue shoot coordination

A day in the life

You will be working with a bunch of folks who genuinely obsess about customers and go out of their way to delver them the best. Collaboration would be one of the most important aspect of your day to day life @ amazon, where you will work closely with category managers, vendor managers, factory merchandisers, marketeers and fellow designers every day.
