Fashion Faculty - FEMALE

We are looking for a passionate and creative Fashion Design Faculty to teach, guide, and mentor students at IIFD. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, design expertise, and the ability to inspire young creative minds.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach fashion design subjects (Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Illustration, Draping, Textiles, CAD, etc.)
• Plan and deliver engaging classroom sessions and practical workshops
• Guide students on creative assignments, portfolios, and projects
• Assist in fashion shows, exhibitions, student events, and industry projects
• Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records
• Stay updated with fashion trends and incorporate them into teaching
• Support curriculum development and academic improvements
• Collaborate with academic & admin teams for smooth operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Fashion Design (B.Des / M.Des preferred)
• Strong command of fashion fundamentals and practical skills
• Ability to teach both theory and hands-on practicals
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Proficiency in illustration (manual/digital), garment construction, and design processes

Good to Have

• Industry experience (fashion houses, export houses, boutique work, freelancing)
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / CLO 3D
• Experience in student mentoring or academic setups
• Participation in shows, competitions, or exhibitions

Salary Range

Based on experience and portfolio.
