OVO LUXURY SIGNATURE is a premium fashion brand based in Dubai specializing in luxury clothing and bespoke fashion services. We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to ensure all finished garments meet our luxury standards before reaching customers.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to inspect all finished garments after production. You will be responsible for checking every piece for defects, verifying measurements, ensuring proper finishing, and approving garments before they enter inventory and are shipped to customers.

Responsibilities

Final Garment Inspection:

• Inspect all finished garments after production
• Check stitching quality and seam strength
• Inspect buttonholes, buttons, zippers, and closures
• Check hems, cuffs, collars, and edges
• Verify lining and interlining quality
• Inspect embroidery, prints, and embellishments
• Check thread trimming and loose threads
• Verify pressing and finishing quality

Measurement Verification:

• Measure garments against size specifications
• Check length, width, chest, waist, and sleeves
• Verify symmetry and alignment
• Ensure consistency across all sizes

Labels and Presentation:

• Check care labels and brand labels placement
• Verify size labels and tags
• Inspect hangtags and price tags
• Check overall presentation and appearance

Defect Identification:

• Identify defects (stains, holes, pulls, discoloration)
• Categorize defects (critical, major, minor)
• Mark and document all defects with photos
• Reject garments that do not meet standards

Approval and Handover:

• Approve garments that pass inspection
• Hand over approved garments to Logistics for inventory
• Return rejected garments to Production for rework
• Track rework items until corrected

Reporting

Daily: Total inspected, passed, rejected, defects identified, rework pending

Weekly: Pass/rejection rate, defect trends, common issues, rework status

Monthly: Quality summary, defect analysis, improvement recommendations

Quality Checklist

Stitching, seams, buttons, zippers, hems, cuffs, collars, lining, embroidery, prints, thread trimming, pressing, measurements, labels, tags, overall appearance, no stains or damage

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in garment quality control (Required)
• Experience inspecting finished/final garments (Required)
• Experience in fashion, luxury, or high-end garment industry (Preferred)
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and finishing (Required)
• Knowledge of stitching types, seams, and finishing techniques
• Ability to identify fabric defects and workmanship issues
• Understanding of garment measurements and fitting
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluent in English (Required)
• Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is a plus
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Honest and quality-focused mindset

Only candidates with proven garment QC experience will be considered.
