Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds efficiently
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food handling duties including cooking, packaging, and serving hot and cold menu items
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing transactions at the cashier station
• Support team members with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a smooth flow during busy periods

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment like a café or grocery store is advantageous
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform kitchen tasks safely

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
