Overview:
This position is for Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Addressing increasingly complex technical engineering tasks without the need for supervision.

Providing solutions by advanced computing/database/CAD/FE or other skills required by projects and showing increasing evidence of using company and client high-level technology.

Acting as a coach for junior staff.

To suggest methods of solutions based on a good understanding and use of company, client and state of the art working practices, methods and procedures and his ability to develop derivative approaches.

Contributing to the development of improved processes and value engineered solutions.

Ensuring the independent check of engineering output. Where, he has Delegated technical signature rights, carrying out this responsibility/checking diligently and independently of business or project pressures.

Justifying decisions and explaining reasons for solutions with evidence of a clear logical approach to problem solving.

Playing a significant role in team/project meetings/technical reviews etc. demonstrating increasing influences within team and externally.

Preparing reports, minutes and other project documentation effectively and concisely.

Chairing from a technical point of view a project review in a single specialty and acting as a technical expert focal point within a project team
- Representing company expertise for technical matters in front of the customer or external instances.
- Controlling internal delivery quality and with the customer, analysing performance indicators and contributing to recovering action plans.
- Supporting sales activity for promoting the company and during bidding phases.
Qualifications:
BTech/MTech
Essential skills:
- Knowledge of aircraft Fuselage and wing structure and aircraft loads

Experienced in spectrum generation and Kt Calculation

Good in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT) calculations of Airbus aircrafts (fuselage section)

Well versed in ISAMI modules (including crack models, joint models) and ISAMI template preparation

Should have Fatigue and Damage Tolerance experience related to Single Aisle, Long Range and A350 programs

F&DT Analysis of Junctions, notches, unfolding radius, lugs & pins

Sizing and stress analysis of the Fuselage and Wing Structure and interfaces by means of hand calculations, numerical simulations (FEM)

Experience in numerical modeling, post-processing and reporting of the results

Checking the analysis and stress dossier at approval level.

Very well-versed in stress dossier writing

Good in excel macros
-
Knowledge of Airbus processes and procedures

Experience in initial Design Stress (Static and FEM) tasks of Aircraft Structures.
