Position Summary:
The F&B Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling food and beverage costs to ensure profitability and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and monitor food and beverage inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Analyze daily food and beverage costs and prepare variance reports.
- Review purchase orders, supplier invoices, and receiving records.
- Monitor waste, pilferage, and portion control to minimize losses.
- Assist in menu costing, recipe standardization, and pricing strategies.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Stores, and Finance to ensure cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Provide management with timely cost analysis, reports, and recommendations.
- Support month-end closing and audit requirements related to F&B operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in F&B cost control or hospitality finance.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and restaurant/hotel software (e.g., FMC, Micros, POS systems).
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost accounting, and procurement procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
