F&B Procurement Project Lead

We are looking to hire an F&B Procurement Projects Lead who will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives and managing end-to-end procurement projects within the Food & Beverage category for our client based in Dubai – one of the largest and most respected companies in the region. The person should also have strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and project delivery within the F&B or hospitality industry .

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable based on performance.

The role sits within the Procurement Department and reports directly to the Senior Manager – F&B .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives within the F&B category to deliver cost optimization and process improvements.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate procurement requirements into actionable sourcing plans.

• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance evaluations to ensure operational excellence.

• Support the development and implementation of tendering processes, RFQs, and contract lifecycle management.

• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within procurement processes to achieve efficiency gains.

• Partner with finance and internal teams to streamline end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities.

• Monitor sourcing KPIs, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and manage budgets and spend targets.

• Stay abreast of market trends and recommend new strategies for sourcing and supplier innovation.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field .

• Professional certifications such as CIPS or Project Management are an advantage.

• 3–5 years of procurement experience , with at least 2 years in Food & Beverage sourcing .

• Proven track record in project management for large-scale or high-value procurement projects.

• Strong understanding of contracts, legal terminology , and supplier negotiations.

• Experience in F&B supply, catering, or hospitality procurement preferred.

• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to lead and guide procurement teams while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
