Job Overview:

The F&B Steward is responsible to support the cleanliness, safety, and overall operational readiness of our restaurant’s Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) environments. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine and deep-cleaning tasks across guest-facing areas, kitchen spaces, and equipment to ensure our venues and equipment consistently meets high standards of sanitation and presentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) areas and equipment in accordance with leadership assignments.
  • Perform deep cleaning of front-line equipment, kitchen equipment, stainless-steel surfaces, and additional high-use areas.
  • Conduct routine floor, wall, and surface cleaning to ensure a safe, sanitary environment at all times.
  • Manage waste disposal for assigned areas, including proper handling, removal, and organization of waste materials.
  • Demonstrate a reliable, positive work ethic and take responsibility for additional tasks as needed to support operations.
  • Communicate inventory or supply needs to kitchen leadership and promptly report any equipment issues or irregularities.
  • Ensure the physical condition of the facility is maintained to health, safety, and cleanliness standards through assigned cleaning tasks.
  • Adhere strictly to all operating procedures, safety guidelines, PPE’s and company policies, including Minimum Internal Control Standards and all Fiscal Policies and Procedures.
  • Has and maintains a stable, positive background and is willing to assume responsibility for additional tasking
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall venue operations

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
  • One (1) year of kitchen, commercial cleaning, and /or general maintenance experience- required
  • Willingness and ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular and frequent basis
  • Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment
  • Ability to adequately and successfully perform all aspects of this position
  • Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
  • Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
