Key Responsibilities of an F&B Supervisor
1. Operations Management
- Supervise daily F&B operations (restaurant, bar, room service, banquets).
- Ensure proper setup, service, and cleanliness of dining areas.
- Monitor service quality and presentation standards.
2. Staff Supervision
- Schedule and assign duties to F&B team members.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate staff performance.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure smooth teamwork and service.
3. Customer Service
- Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Gather feedback to improve service.
4. Inventory and Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Place orders and coordinate with suppliers when needed.
- Minimize waste and control costs.
5. Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ensure all staff follow company policies and procedures.
6. Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare daily sales and inventory reports.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control.
- Maintain logs and checklists for quality control.
