Federal Benefit Specialist - Insurance Agent (Virtual Sales Position)

Who are we? We are the Federal Benefit Service and Education leader and have been in the federal market for 20 years. We have over 80 benefit specialists nationwide and have a few openings in our preset appointment division. In 2024, we issued just over 8M of life insurance premiums. Our average agent makes over 100k, while our top 20%ers take home over 250k.

We work hard to keep agents happy, to feel a part of something important and positive, and most importantly, to call this their home!

Who do we serve? We work with Federal Employees as their personal benefit specialists. We help them understand their employee benefits by reviewing their paycheck stub and understanding their deductions, their federal life insurance, pension amounts, when they can retire, and their federal 401 (k). In the process, we help identify areas of improvement and show them ways to finish their career stronger! We help people from day one of employment through their retirement from federal service!

• Simplified Issue Product(s) (no medical underwriting hang-ups)
• Government Allotment Business (premiums paid via payroll deduction)
• 35-50% closing ratio

As a new agent begins submitting applications, initial compensation payments take about a week or so to post to their accounts. Once a new agent is consistently submitting applications, compensation is paid as you write business.
