Job Title: Mid-level Federal Technology Architect (IC2)

Location: Arlington, VA - In office 4 days a week

Security Clearance Requirement: This role will need to obtain a security clearance so candidate must be a US Citizen.

Overview:
Oracle Health is seeking a Mid-level Federal Technology Architect (IC2) to join our team. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating technical solutions for Oracle Health and federal client systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering or architecture background, demonstrated ability to collaborate within and across teams, and a strong desire to learn and grow within their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing and proposed systems to determine requirements and ensure solutions meet organizational needs.
  • Design and develop integration solutions between Oracle Health and federal client applications.
  • Create and document visual representations (e.g., diagrams, flowcharts) of system inputs, outputs, and architectures.
  • Partner with internal and external delivery teams to implement integration solutions within defined project scopes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, development teams, client end users, and stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve system efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience (Engineering degree preferred).
  • 2-5 years of hands-on engineering or architecture experience, including design, development, and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency with enterprise architecture diagramming or technical design tools (e.g., Visio, Draw.io, or related).
  • Experience aligning work with established enterprise and/or federal standards.
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to accept new assignments, “dive in” with limited oversight, and learn new technologies, architectures, and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in DoDAF, government, healthcare, or architecture modeling.
  • Proven track record of working with large-scale, distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated initiative to automate processes and optimize system workflows.
