Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, along designated routes to deliver packages efficiently.
• Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of all items.
• Navigate through city streets and highways confidently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging politely with recipients during deliveries and obtaining signatures when required.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records throughout your shift.
• Assist with warehouse tasks when necessary, including inventory management and moving packages within the facility.

Requirements

••••MUST HAVE PACKAGE DELIVERY EXPERIENCE••••

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving moving packages of varying sizes.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus.
