Duties

• Safely operate a box truck / Step Van to deliver packages along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
• Load and unload packages using proper lifting techniques, including heavy lifting and moving items of various sizes and weights
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company standards
• Navigate route driving efficiently, utilizing GPS and route planning tools to optimize delivery times
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and records of all package movements and deliveries

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable
• Experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicles
• Background in warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, and moving.
• Strong driving record with knowledge of safe driving practices in various traffic conditions
• Customer service experience that demonstrates professionalism, communication skills, and a positive attitude
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and moving packages regularly (Max Pkg weight of 150lbs.)
• Familiarity with route planning tools and GPS devices for efficient navigation

Requirements

• 21 years old and ability to pass pre employment and random drug testing
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading packages with a 150lb max weight

Pay: $150.00 - $170.00 per day
