About the Role

We are hiring a qualified Accountant in the Dubai real estate sector. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of UAE Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, VAT compliance, and Corporate Tax (CT) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to property sales, leasing, and brokerage transactions
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including commission calculations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle full VAT compliance (calculation, filing, documentation, and reconciliation)
• Manage UAE Corporate Tax (CT) computations, reporting, and compliance
• Ensure full compliance with UAE AML regulations, including:
• Monitoring and reporting suspicious transactions
• Maintaining AML documentation and records
• Coordinating with relevant regulatory authorities when required
• Perform bank and escrow reconciliations
• Support audit processes and regulatory inspections
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with UAE real estate laws and financial regulations

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of UAE AML laws and reporting procedures
• Working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax (CT) regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) will be an added advantage.
