Female Arts Teacher – Primary Grades

Position Overview:

The Arts Teacher is responsible for developing creativity, imagination, and artistic skills among students through structured lessons in drawing, painting, crafts, and other visual arts. The teacher will foster appreciation for art and self-expression while aligning lessons with the school’s curriculum and holistic development goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons appropriate to the grade levels assigned.
• Introduce students to various art forms, techniques, and mediums (drawing, painting, coloring, craft, clay work, etc.).
• Integrate art with other subjects to encourage cross-curricular learning.
• Organize art-related activities, competitions, and exhibitions to showcase student creativity.

2. Student Development

• Encourage self-expression, creativity, and confidence through art projects.
• Identify and nurture artistic talent in students.
• Support diverse learning needs and ensure inclusivity in art activities.
• Promote teamwork, patience, and perseverance through collaborative projects.

3. Classroom & Resource Management

• Maintain art supplies, tools, and classroom/lab cleanliness.
• Prepare lesson materials and ensure safe handling of art resources.
• Keep records of student participation, progress, and performance.
• Display student artwork within the school to enhance motivation and appreciation.

4. Collaboration & Professional Growth

• Work with home teachers and subject specialists to integrate art into thematic and interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in staff meetings, training workshops, and professional development activities.
• Contribute to planning and organizing cultural and co-curricular events.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts / Arts Education (BFA or equivalent).
• Teaching experience of at least 2 years, preferably in primary and middle grades.
• Strong command over different art techniques and mediums.
• Effective communication and classroom management skills.
• Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching children.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
