Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Beverage Preparation: Skillfully craft coffee, tea, and other drinks using varied techniques (e.g., latte art, pour-over) while following recipes.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders with precision, offer menu recommendations, and handle customer inquiries or complaints in a friendly, efficient manner.
- Operations & Cleaning: Maintain a clean, organized workspace, clean equipment, sanitize stations, restock inventory, and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Cashiering: Process cash and credit card payments accurately using a POS system.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate, clean, and troubleshoot brewing equipment, grinders, and espresso machines.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Previous experience in coffee preparation (latte art, espresso extraction) and operating, cleaning, and maintaining industrial brewing equipment.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work well under pressure during busy times.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail for consistently crafting quality beverages and managing inventory accurately.
- Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, different types of coffee, brewing methods, and menu items.
