Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Ideal candidates will have experience in various caregiving settings and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide personal care and support for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors and those with disabilities.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' overall well-being.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary for patient mobility.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality of client information.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and patient observation techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs.
• Understanding of care plans, medication administration, and patient monitoring practices.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others live independently at home.
