Job Summary:
The Female Chef de Partie is responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen (such as Baking , pastry, ). She ensures that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation while supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within the designated kitchen section.
- Assist in the creation of new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Ensure consistent portion sizes, presentation, and taste across all dishes.
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and food hygiene standards in compliance with HACCP and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Train, guide, and supervise Commis Chefs and junior staff in the section.
- Manage time efficiently to meet service demands and minimize food wastage.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
