Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesCost Control & Monitoring
- Monitor and control all operational costs within the salon, spa, gym, and pool departments.
- Review daily sales, expenses, petty cash, supplier invoices, and purchase requests.
- Ensure all expenses are properly approved and recorded in the system.
- Analyze cost variances and report unusual or excessive spending to management.
- Monitor product consumption and service usage to avoid wastage and misuse.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Conduct regular inventory checks for retail products, professional products, linens, refreshments, and operational supplies.
- Coordinate with departments regarding stock movement, shortages, and overconsumption.
- Ensure proper receiving procedures for delivered items and compare with purchase orders and invoices.
- Monitor expiry dates and stock rotation.
- Prepare inventory reports and stock adjustment reports.
Purchasing & Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, deliveries, and invoices.
- Compare supplier prices and recommend cost-saving solutions.
- Ensure all purchase requests are complete and approved before processing.
- Follow up pending orders and delivery schedules.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, quotations, and delivery notes.
- Assist management in budget monitoring and operational cost analysis.
- Support accounting and audit requirements when needed.
Operations Coordination
- Work closely with reception, accounting, HR, operations, and department supervisors.
- Monitor service charges, discounts, complimentary services, and promotions to ensure proper approval and recording.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all operational transactions.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience as Cost Controller or similar position.
- Experience in salon, spa, hospitality, retail, or wellness industry is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge in inventory, purchasing, and cost monitoring.
- Good skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting systems.
- Knowledge in POS and inventory systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and multitask.
