A Furniture Showroom Sales Representative is responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and providing product recommendations to achieve sales targets. The role involves showcasing furniture pieces, explaining product features, assisting with design ideas, and ensuring a positive customer experience from inquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet customers as they enter the showroom and provide professional assistance.

· Understand customer needs, preferences, and budget to recommend suitable furniture options.

· Present and demonstrate product features, materials, colors, and customization options.

· Prepare quotations, sales orders, and invoices for customers.

· Achieve individual and showroom sales targets.

· Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of furniture designs, trends, and store promotions.

· Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales support in a professional manner.

· Assist with showroom display arrangements, cleanliness, and visual merchandising.

· Coordinate with the delivery and logistics team for timely product dispatch.

· Maintain customer records and build long-term client relationships.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Sales and negotiation ability.

· Good product presentation and demonstration skills.

· Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving ability.

· Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, POS systems, CRM software).

· Knowledge of interior design or furniture trends is an advantage.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Sales, Marketing, or related field).

· Previous experience in retail sales, preferably furniture or lifestyle products.

· Fluency in local language (and English, if applicable).

Work Conditions

· Based in the showroom; may require weekend or holiday shifts.

· Standing and walking for extended periods.

· Occasional visits to client sites for consultations (if required).
