The Female GX Instructor is responsible for leading safe, fun, and effective group exercise classes that motivate members, improve their fitness levels, and enhance their overall gym experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver group exercise classes (e.g., aerobics, Zumba, yoga, cycling, HIIT, Les Mills, etc.) according to the schedule.
- Ensure all classes are engaging, safe, and suitable for participants of different fitness levels.
- Provide modifications and progressions for participants as needed.
- Motivate and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic atmosphere during classes.
- Monitor attendance and encourage member participation.
- Ensure proper use of equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Stay updated on fitness trends and continuously improve teaching techniques.
- Represent the gym’s values and promote member satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certified Group Exercise Instructor (ACE, AFAA, Les Mills, Zumba, Yoga Alliance, or equivalent).
- Previous experience teaching group fitness classes (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
- Strong communication and motivational skills.
- High energy, enthusiastic, and professional presentation.
- Knowledge of exercise safety and injury prevention.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
