Female Home Teacher – Grade 1

Position Overview:

The Grade 1 Home Teacher is responsible for managing and delivering the academic and co-curricular program for Grade 1 students. The role includes classroom teaching, student mentoring, maintaining records, and ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that fosters holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Delivery

• Teach all core subjects (English, Math, Urdu, Science, Social Studies, and Islamiat) as per the curriculum plan.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and weekly/monthly schemes of work aligned with the school’s academic framework.
• Ensure differentiated instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through classwork, homework, projects, and tests.

2. Student Development

• Provide individual attention and support to students to enhance learning outcomes.
• Encourage positive behavior, discipline, and respect within the classroom.
• Promote creativity, curiosity, and confidence in students through interactive teaching.
• Monitor and support the emotional and social development of each child.

3. Classroom & Record Management

• Maintain student attendance, academic records, and portfolios on the school portal (Eduman or equivalent).
• Regularly update parents on student progress through diaries, meetings, and PTMs.
• Ensure proper classroom discipline, cleanliness, and resource organization.

4. Collaboration & Professionalism

• Work closely with subject specialists, co-curricular teachers, and coordinators to plan integrated learning activities.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, training workshops, and professional development sessions.
• Support school events, assemblies, and extra-curricular activities.
• Uphold the school’s values, policies, and code of conduct.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education / B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the primary level (Grade 1 or early years preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage young learners with patience, empathy, and creativity.
• Proficiency in lesson planning, activity-based learning, and use of technology in teaching.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
