Job Title: HR Specialist – Benefits & Compensation

Location: UAE
Department: Human Resources
Reports to: HR Manager / Head of HR

Job Summary

The HR Specialist – Benefits & Compensation is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee compensation structures and benefit programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with labor laws. The role supports payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compensation analysis to attract, retain, and motivate employees.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Management

  • Develop, review, and administer salary structures, pay grades, and incentive schemes
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market surveys to ensure competitiveness
  • Support annual salary reviews, promotions, bonuses, and increment processes
  • Ensure accurate compensation data and documentation

Benefits Administration

  • Manage employee benefits programs including medical insurance, life insurance, leave benefits, gratuity, and allowances
  • Coordinate with insurance providers and external vendors for renewals and claims
  • Explain benefits policies clearly to employees and resolve benefit-related queries
  • Ensure timely onboarding and offboarding benefits processing

Payroll & Compliance Support

  • Coordinate with payroll team to ensure accurate salary and benefits processing
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and company HR policies
  • Maintain employee compensation and benefits records in HR systems
  • Support audits and HR reporting requirements

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare compensation and benefits reports for management
  • Analyze cost impact of benefits and compensation programs
  • Maintain confidentiality of salary and employee data at all times

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in compensation and benefits or HR operations
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in multinational or large-scale organizations
  • Certification in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) is an advantage
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
