Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating, preparing, and cooking high-quality Italian dishes using traditional and modern techniques.
  • Developing and updating Italian menus, including specials, seasonal dishes, and signature items.
  • Ensuring all food is prepared according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
  • Supervising and training kitchen staff to maintain culinary standards and workflow.
  • Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards in compliance with HACCP guidelines.
  • Managing food cost, minimizing waste, and ensuring efficient use of ingredients.
  • Overseeing kitchen operations during service to ensure timely and smooth delivery of dishes.
  • Collaborating with management for menu development, costing, and kitchen improvements.
  • Ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all Italian dishes.
  • Inspecting ingredients for freshness, quality, and proper handling.
  • Coordinating with suppliers for fresh and authentic Italian ingredients.
  • Preparing special menus for events, promotions, and VIP guests.
  • Maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Training staff in Italian culinary techniques and new recipes.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
