Female - Landscape Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Female Landscape Maintenance Engineer to lead the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of horticultural practices, irrigation systems, and landscape management principles. This role involves supervising field crews, ensuring optimal plant health, and upholding aesthetic and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise landscape maintenance activities (irrigation, pruning, mowing, fertilization, pest control, etc.).
• Inspect sites regularly to ensure high-quality maintenance of plants, turf, trees, and shrubs.
• Monitor and manage irrigation systems, pumps, and controllers for efficient water usage.
• Ensure proper upkeep of hardscape elements (pavements, pergolas, lighting, fountains).
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and maintenance staff.
• Prepare and maintain records of site inspections, maintenance schedules, and reports.
• Provide technical guidance to the maintenance crew for horticulture best practices.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Suggest improvements and upgrades to enhance landscape sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Engineering / Landscape Architecture / Horticulture / Agriculture / Civil Engineering (with landscaping specialization).
• 3–5 years’ experience in landscape maintenance or related field.
• Proven track record of managing landscape operations in residential, commercial, or public projects.
• Experience with irrigation systems, pest control, turf management, and ornamental plants.
• Strong technical knowledge of horticulture, soil, irrigation, and maintenance techniques.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and irrigation/maintenance software.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings and maintenance schedules.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Commitment to sustainability and environmental practices.
• FEMALE candidates only holding a valid UAE Driving License.
