Female Lifeguard

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Female Lifeguard to serve as the primary lifeguard at our prestigious international school facility. This full-time position focuses on pool safety management, emergency preparedness, and comprehensive aquatic facility operations within our state-of-the-art aquatic center.

Primary Responsibilities

Aquatic Safety & Lifeguard Operations:

• Maintain constant surveillance of all aquatic activities and facility users
• Enforce comprehensive pool safety protocols and regulations
• Perform water rescues and administer emergency care as required
• Conduct regular safety inspections of aquatic facilities and equipment
• Monitor and maintain optimal water quality standards
• Execute risk assessments and implement preventative safety measures
• Maintain accurate incident reports and safety documentation
• Oversee proper use and maintenance of all safety equipment
• Ensure compliance with local and international aquatic safety standards

Facility Management:

• Supervise all pool operations during scheduled activities
• Coordinate pool opening and closing procedures
• Manage chemical testing and water treatment protocols
• Inspect and maintain life-saving and rescue equipment
• Report maintenance requirements and facility concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the aquatic facility

Professional Collaboration:

• Provide water safety guidance to Physical Education staff
• Deliver emergency response training to relevant personnel
• Support risk management procedures for aquatic programs
• Participate in departmental meetings and safety briefings
• Contribute to the development of aquatic safety policies

Essential Qualifications

Required Certifications:

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or internationally recognized equivalent
• Current First Aid at Work certification
• CPR and AED certification
• Pool Plant Operations certification (desirable)

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years professional lifeguarding experience
• Minimum 1 year experience in educational or institutional setting
• Proven track record in aquatic facility management and safety oversight
• Experience supervising multiple aquatic activities simultaneously
• International school environment experience highly desirable
