1. Job Purpose
The Registered Nurse is responsible for collecting patient information and delivering high-quality patient care to all patients visiting the clinic. The role involves coordinating day-to-day patient care activities in an efficient, safe, and professional manner while supporting doctors and clinic operations.
2. Duties and Responsibilities2.1 Clinical & Operational Responsibilities
- Collect and assess patient information using observation, communication, and physical assessment skills.
- Ensure all patients’ needs are met and that they receive appropriate care and attention.
- Work closely with medical staff to ensure high standards of patient care and service delivery.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of clinical equipment.
- Perform IV cannulation and phlebotomy competently (mandatory requirement).
- Assist doctors with administering IV therapies and treatments.
- Order medications, manage medication rotation, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete documentation of patient records in line with clinic standards.
- Ensure all consents, medical records, and clinical notes are properly organized, compiled, and securely stored.
- Anticipate, recognize, and manage emergencies and unsafe practices, initiating timely and appropriate interventions.
- Promote continuous improvement and assist in enhancing standards of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Conduct regular stock checks and ensure adequate supplies are maintained.
- Promote a safe environment that supports patient safety, independence, and quality of life.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and perform all duties professionally.
- Assist in implementing clinic policies, procedures, and operational systems.
- Support the development and implementation of cost-effective administrative and operational procedures.
- Assist with administrative duties when nursing workload permits.
- Prepare and issue reports when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
2.2 Customer Service Responsibilities
- Adhere to the clinic’s mission of enhancing patient well-being.
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding patient needs and meeting quality standards.
- Ensure correct and complete information is provided to the cashier for accurate billing.
- Adhere to clinic telephone and communication standards at all times.

- Comply with the Nursing Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge in line with evidence-based practice.

- Valid BLS certification and training in infection control, health and safety, and resuscitation (including anaphylaxis management).

- Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to manage emails and appointment bookings.

3.3 Educational Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent (mandatory).
3.4 Licensure / Certification Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license from a recognized professional body.
- Licensure must be maintained as per regulatory requirements.

As assigned by management.
